  • Cavillargues (3 km) - local village shops including bakery
  • Bagnols-sur-Ceze (10 km) - Wednesday market, supermarkets
  • Uzes and Pont Saint Esprit - Saturday markets, smaller ones during the week
  • Excellent restaurants in nearby villages and towns
  • Visit famous vineyards (such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape) a short drive away.

Our local wine co-operative in Megier (5 minutes walk) has recently won gold medals from prestigious wine festivals of Paris and Orange for their Cotes du Rhone Rouge - made from the grapes you can see surrounding the Saint Castor Estate.
